Lovells Automotive Systems to open new Osborne Park site

Manufacturing News

Lovells Automotive Systems will officially open its newest franchise site, Lovells Osborne Park in Western Australia, on Monday.

According to a statement from the Lovells Group subsidiary on Friday, the site has undergone an extensive renovation and rebrand after being taken over from WA Suspensions, and marks “a significant milestone in Lovells’ retail and franchise growth.”

A Grand Opening event will be held “in the coming weeks” following the August 11 opening, said Lovells, which is currently marking its 95th anniversary of manufacturing and retail operations in Australia.

It added that the new franchise will offer “the full range of GVM, GCM, and BTC upgrade kits, including post-registration Gross Combination Mass (GCM) revisions”. The company recently announced approval for fitment of its suspension enhancements for post-registration Gross Combination Mass (GCM) revisions under new WA laws.

“Expanding to Western Australia enables us to meet growing demand and better serve our customers on both sides of the country,” said Mike Davison, General Manager – Automotive, Lovells.

“With Osborne Park, we are not only strengthening our physical footprint but reinforcing our commitment to making legal, engineered towing and suspension upgrades more accessible for more Australians.”

Lovells Automotive Systems is the sales and distribution division of Lovells Group, alongside Lovells Industrial Systems, which manages design, engineering, manufacturing, and procurement.

Simon Crane, CEO and majority shareholder of Lovells Group, recently appeared as part of a panel at this title’s Spotlight on Scaling Up seminar. You can stream audio of the discussion below or download the @AuManufacturing Conversations podcast episode via whatever podcast app you use.
