Central West NSW-based aluminium outdoor furniture maker Felton Industries has announced new certifications for its management management systems under the ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
The Condoblin-headquartered company announced on Thursday said that the accreditations added to its existing ISO 9001 certification for its quality management system (QMS.)
The additional two certifications cover occupational health and safety (45001) and environmental management (14001) systems.
Felton said that meeting these is “critical for engaging with architects, tier one contractors, and larger projects” across the sectors it serves and others, and that having all three “positions it to enter new markets with confidence.”
The general manager of Felton Industries, Mark Wiggins, said: “[Certifications] represent the effort we’ve made to build a safer, more sustainable, and more structured business that’s ready to grow.
“It’s taken months of hard work and a genuine top-down commitment across the business. We’ve updated processes, embedded training, implemented more rigorous internal audits, and taken a good hard look at how we work, where we source materials from, and what our products mean for people and places. It’s been a reset that demonstrates our values and lays the foundation for what comes next.”
